Cement based wall putty

It is a white cement based wall putty with excellent water resistance. It is a factory controlled and very high quality product to properly cover undulations of the concrete and plastered surface Also, it provides very smooth finish, vital for successive painting stages. It is suited both for interior and exterior applications.

How to Use:

  • Surfaces should be sound. Clean and free from contaminants loosely adhering particles such as cement, laitance, rust, scales etc. should be removed by suitable means. For previously painted/old painted substrates, scrub the layers with proper emery paper/wire brush so that it is free from these old paint/dust particles. old paint/dust particles.
  • Prior to starting application, properly pre-wet the substrate with clean water.
  • Gradually apply CRES®PUTTY CP 100 from bottom to top direction by pressing firmly over the substrate using steel trowel or suitable Putty blades and properly level it to a smooth layer.
  • The individual thickness per coat is not to exceed 1 mm for best results and ensure that total thickness should not exceed 3mm in multiple layers.
  • Prior to application of the subsequent coat, please ensure that the previous coat is dried well.
  • Mix only the needed quantities that are going to be applied to avoid any drying of the mixed material by time.
  • It should be mixed with clean water where in gradual addition is essential.
  • Mixing should be done in a clean plastic or non-corrosive metal bucket.
  • It is recommended to mix it using an electric mixer fitted with proper paddle to achieve a good and homogeneous mixture.
  • Mixing ratio is around 10 -12 Liters of water per 25 Kg bag which can be adjustedas per site application conditions.
  • Once mixed, allow the mix to rest for about 5 minutes and just prior to application, mix it again without adding any extra water.
  • Also hard and set paste should not be remixed or reused.
