CRES®THANE PU 300
Single component polyurethane waterproof coating
Liquid-applied, highly permanent elastic, cold applied, bitumen extended, one component polyurethane membrane used for long lasting waterproofing.
Properties:

How to Use:
- All Surfaces should be sound, clean and free from contaminants loosely adhering particles such as cement, laitance, rust scales etc. should be removed by suitable means. Concrete should preferably be dampen with water. In kitchens & wet areas all the opening should be properly sealed. Concrete should be cured for at least 28 days and should have a compressive strength of at least 25 Mpa. Loose friable material and weak concrete must be completely removed by mechanical means to achieve an open textured surface and all surface defects such as blowholes and voids must be fully exposed. Repairs to the substrate, filling of joints, blowholes/voids and surface leveling must be carried out using the appropriate CRES® products.
- On sound, high quality concrete surfaces no primer is necessary. Prime very absorbent and brittle concrete or brittle cement screed surface with CRES®THANE PU 300 dilute with 10 to 20 % clean water. For very porous substrate prime with CRES®THANE PU 300, allow the prime coat to cure. Stir well before using for at least 2-3 minutes by using mechanical mixer until the material is homogenous. Apply the CRES®THANE PU 300 onto the surface by roller or brush, until all surface is covered. After 16-24 hours apply another layer of CRES®THANE PU 300. It can be applied by brush, roller or squeegee. When two or more coats are required, it is important that the preceding coat is fully dry before the successive coat is applied. Coat should be brushed at right angle to each other. Do not apply CRES®THANE PU 300 to outside areas in wet weather or when rain is expected. Protect freshly applied product from rain until it’s fully cured.
