Solvent based bitumen primer, ASTM D41
It greatly enhances adhesion of bituminous waterproofing membranes to substrates. The primer conforms to the requirement of ASTM D41 & BS 3416. It acts as a primer and sealer coat for masonry and concrete to improve the bonding of bituminous materials. |
Properties:
- Binder for dust particles.
- Anti corrosive.
- Cold applied, does not require heating, thinning and mixing.
- Versatile bituminous primer for porous and non-porous surfaces.
- Improves the adhesion between bitumen based sheet membrane and coatings.
Uses:
It is used as a general primer for concrete and bricks used as a prime coat before applying any modified bitumen membranes. It may be applied successfully to a wide range of surfaces such as metal, asbetos cement, and lightweight concrete screeds.

How to Use:
- The surface must be clean and free of oil, grease and any other loosely adhering particles. The surface must be dry before priming with CRESPRIME SB.
- Mix the contents of the pail or drum for a few minutes to remove any sediments. Apply the primer @ 5-6 m²/lt. to a clean smooth and dry surface by brush/roller.
