CRES®PLUG HB
Quick setting cementitious plugging compound
It is a quick setting hydraulic cement compound used to instantly stop running water or seepage in masonry or concrete. It is ready to use and requires only the addition of water before plugging and sealing active leaks.
Properties:
- Chloride free, will not promote corrosion of reinforcement.
- Single component, only mixed with water.
- Stops active water leakages by setting instantly.

- Very fast setting with rapid strength development.

Uses:
- Concrete and masonry walls and floors.
- Stops active water or seepage under pressure through joints, cracks and holes in concrete or masonry.
- Interior and exterior areas for vertical and horizontal applications.
- For sealing cracks and construction joints in reservoirs and other water-retaining structures.
- Repairing honeycombs, cracks and joints.
- It is effective in sealing water leaks through concrete, concrete block walls, brickwork, earthenware and almost all types of stones and masonry.

How to Use:
- Application surfaces must be structurally sound, free of loose or deteriorated concrete, free of dust, dirt, paint and other contaminants.
- Cracks or cavities to be sealed may need to be enlarged to increase the bonding area. Where surface contamination exists, concrete surfaces should be prepared by water blasting, girt blasting or wire brushing in the area of the leak in order to remove the laitance in preparation to receive the CRES®PLUG HB.
- Mix 3.2 parts of CRES®PLUG HB with 1 parts of clean water (3.2 kg of CRES®PLUG HB with 1 kg of water). Mix to a stiff paste in a suitable mixing vessel, using a trowel or gloved hand. Do not mix it for more than 20seconds. Due to the rapid set characteristics of the product, only prepare a quantity of mortar which can be placed within the prescribed set time. Mix the product with clean water to form a stiff paste and fill the void by pressing the paste into the damaged area for a minimum of 25 seconds for the pressurized water area & for the non pressurized water area apply the stiff paste in cracks and small holes & remove the hand which sets instantly. Once set remove excess material by cutting surface with a trowel or by scraper.
