Cold applied bitumen emulsion
Thixotropic bitumen emulsion designed for applications as a primer and sealer coat. The coating is dark brown in color and dries to black flexible protective film. The finished films are tough and forms a barrier to water and vapor transmission.
Properties:
- Cold applied, Easy to apply.
- Quick drying.
- Non-flammable.
- Can be applied over damp surfaces.
- Excellent adhesion to concrete, metal and wood.
Uses:
It is used for general waterproofing, damp-proofing and protective coating for below ground concrete structures against attack by ground salts. This can also be used as the protective coating for built up roofing systems and other exposed surfaces, as a damp proofing membrane or as vapor seal.

How to Use:
- Ensure that surface to be treated is sound and free from all oil, grease and other foreign matters. Cracks, potholes and honey combs are to be repaired with a suitable material from the ‘CRES’ range of repair mortars.
- Primer is always recommended prior to coating, as it not only seals the porous substrates but also acts as an adhesion promoter for further coatings. Allow the primer to dry before any further coats are applied.
