High build rubber modified bitumen emulsion
Single component, cold applied high build polymer modified rubberized bitumen emulsion which cures to provide heavy duty seamless rubber like membrane for use in waterproofing and damp roofing concrete and masonry surfaces above and below grade. The elastomeric membrane is characterized by its high solid content while retaining a relatively high degree of workability. |
Properties:
- Single component, ready to use.
- Excellent flexibility.
- Resistant to chlorides and sulphates usually present in the soil.
- Non-flammable and non-toxic.
- Forms a seamless, rubberized asphalt membrane on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Uses:
- Damp proof membrane in sandwich panel construction.
- Wet areas such as kitchen, bathrooms etc.
- Curing membrane cum protective coating for sub structure.
- Facade damp proofing.
- Waterproofing of concrete, brick foundation, retaining wall, basements and columns etc.

How to Use:
- All Surfaces should be sound, clean and free from contaminants, Loosely adhering particles such as cement, laitance, rust scales etc. should be removed by suitable means. Concrete should preferably be dampen with water.
- It can be applied by brush, squeegee or spray. Hot, dry or very porous substrates should be dampened with clean water prior to application of CRESCOAT HB 102.
