CRES®BOND PVA
PVA bonding agent
Polyvinyl acetate bonding agent with a long history of successful usage in many varying building situations. It is a multi-purpose material that can be used both as a straight forward bonding agent, a surface sealer and / or an admixture in cement based mixes. Standards: Conforms to BS 5270 – Bonding agents for use with gypsum plasters and cement and ASTM C 631-70.

- Quick drying, non-toxic, non-flammable.
Uses:
- As an adhesive for most common building materials.
- Bonding agent for internal renderings, floor toppings, key plaster, cement screed, etc.
- For general concrete repair and sealing of concrete
- As a bonding agent between old and new concrete
- It has a plasticizing effect which gives mortar application, increase the mechanical strength of screeds and renders.
- It can be used as a surface sealer for concrete and floors to minimize the dusting and penetration of oils.

How to Use:
- Surface must be structurally sound, clear, free of dust, loose material, laitance and other contami nants. Saturate the surface with water and wipe down before commencing treatment.
- It should not be used as a bonding agent in continuously wet and highly humid areas. Application should be done by brush or roller as explained in the following method of application.
- As a general adhesive: It bonds asbestos, bricks, concrete, cork, plaster boards, renders tiles, wood etc. After surface preparation, coat both faces with CRESBOND PVA allow to become tacky, then press both surfaces together and position as required. Wipe off any excess material and allow to set for 24 hours.
